Mothers of PreschoolersACC MOPS Steering Team (2010-2011)
Lois Armstrong is currently serving as a Mentor Mom for her fourth year, and this is her second year on Steering Team. She is retired after 40+ years as administrative assistant to the academic dean of Trinity Divinity School. Lois raised two sons alone from the ages of 3 and 5, and she has eight grandchildren (18-26 years old). Karen Santelik is currently serving as Hospitality Leader for MOPS at ACC. She joined steering midway through last year as MOPPETS Coordinator. She is in her fourth year with MOPS, her first two years at a chapter in Ohio. She has been married to a wonderful man for nine years and is the mother of two sweet and loud boys, ages 4 and 2. When she has free time, Karen enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family and friends, especially outdoors. Kara Payne has been attending MOPS since February 2009 after her family started attending ACC. Kara is taking on the role of Creative Activities Coordinator for the second year. She has a 2-year-old daughter, and in her free time enjoys naps, running, biking and learning to garden. Erin Walsh is currently serving as Co-coordinator of MOPS at ACC. This is her fourth year at MOPS and her first year on the Steering Team. She has been married five years and is the mother of a 16-year-old girl along with three boys ages 10, 8 and 2. In her spare time, Erin enjoys knitting, crochet, reading, writing, antiquing, cooking and gardening. Lisa Minnes serves as Publicity Coordinator for ACC MOPS in her third year with the group. She is married to Matthew and has two boys, 4 and 1, which keep her very busy. Lisa enjoys gardening, theater, music and good food.
