Chris Modrzejewski – Pastor of Youth and Children Ministries

Chris came on board as Student Ministry Pastor in January of 2006 and went full-time in July 2006 assuming the additional role of Children Ministry Pastor. His primary responsibilities include teaching at youth group and leading teams of adults to work with both youth and children.

Chris is a 2005 graduate of Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL. He is married to Lisa, and they are the proud parents of a little girl born December 2008 and a little boy born September 2010. They also have 2 dogs, Toby (silky terrier) and Leah (bichon/poodle mix). Chris is an avid runner and a budding triathlete. He enjoys competing in half and full marathons and did his first Ironman 70.3 triathlon in the summer of 2012. In his spare time he enjoys reading, Frisbee, backpacking, and spending time with his wife and kids. He's a devout Chicago Cubs and Bears fan and has been known to drop everything for free tickets. Having quite a bit of Starbucks experience, both as an employee and customer, Chris is considered our resident “coffee expert.”
